Distinguished Participant,
It is with great honor to address you all to express our delightedness in welcoming you to the Fifth edition of the SAHARA International Model United Nations. This edition is an exceptional one that promises a great experience to our distinguished participants. Held in Agadir, the pearl of the southern provinces in Morocco - from 29th April to 03rd May 2024 - this conference will gather 400 delegates coming from more than 53 countries, and more than 80 guests of honor. SIMUN is a concrete manifestation of enriching diplomatic experiences.
During this outstanding event, you will perform in the debates like a real diplomat and enjoy the most beautiful areas in the South through amazing social events and exciting and enthusiastic committees.
In SIMUN, many themes will be covered in the workshops, namely youth issues, human rights, international relations, cultural and media diversity, empowering women and gender equality, crises management and resolution of the world’s disputes, immigration issues and refugees’ integration, African economic cooperation in sustaining development, the safeguarding of people’s oral heritage, fighting extremism, terrorism and denouncing violence and hatred, and combating organized crime and the trafficking.
The committees will use Arabic, French and English languages in their debates.
